Dunlap is a census-designated place (CDP) in Elkhart County, Indiana, United States. The population was 6,235 at the 2010 census. Once a small farming community, by the 1980s it had become a suburb of Elkhart and Goshen, Indiana. Most of the town was destroyed by two violent F4 tornadoes during the Palm Sunday Tornado Outbreak on April 11, 1965. Both tornadoes killed over 60 in the region. ==History== A post office was established at Dunlap in 1886, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1902.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Elkhart County )〕
